A grand tradition of luxury hospitality
On the 1st of January 1.910, H.M. The King Alfonso XIII inaugurates the Hotel Alhambra Palace. Work of the Duke of San Pedro of Galatino, aristocrat, politician, businessman, and above all big visionary of his time, he makes reality one of his best dreams. 18.000 tourists visited by then The Alhambra, and this work supposes the perfect complement for the incipient romantic tourism of that time.
Situated in the main enclosure of the romantic monument and dominating the city of Granada, the hotel maintains intact the charm, the magic and the opulence of its glorious past.
Hotel of Luxury and Casino from 1.910 to 1.936, Hospital of blood during the Civil War, and an international referent for the tourism luxury since 1.942. Besides, it has been the main embassy in Granada of great personalities from the world of the art, of the culture, of the politics and of the nobility from the whole world, as it remains reflected in its Book of Gold.
100 years after, it is today, a hotel renewed and adapted to the new needs of our clients, with more strength than never, a world-wide referent in the tourism of elite.
